Job Description:

Full Stack Engineer (FE leaning)

We’re hiring a Full Stack Engineer who wants to take ownership in a fast‑scaling startup.

About Clariti AI

Clariti AI is a B2B SaaS company providing price optimisation software to retail banks. We help banks make pricing decisions on products such as mortgages and savings. Our pricing software guides clients to price recommendations that can generate millions of Pounds or Euros in additional revenue.

This is an exciting time to join the company, with a growing set of clients in the UK and Ireland. After recent successes, Clariti AI has built a very promising pipeline of new clients, with revenues expected to increase significantly in the next year. The company is bootstrapped (no VC or angel investment) and is already very profitable.

Full Stack Engineer

We’re looking for an exceptional Full Stack Engineer with strong front‑end skills to join us as a key early hire, helping shape the next version of Clariti AI’s pricing intelligence platform. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on building and improving a modern, cloud‑based B2B SaaS product. You’ll work across the stack, with a particular focus on front‑end development, dashboard‑heavy user experiences, API integration, back‑end services, and cloud deployment.

Our current app is already live with clients. Users log in securely to access dashboards, analysis, pricing outputs, and optimisation tools for mortgage and deposit portfolios. Your role will include maintaining and improving the existing application while helping us build an improved second version of the platform.

You will work closely with our data science team, who own the modelling, analysis, and preparation of pricing outputs. Your job is to build the front‑end, back‑end services, APIs, and cloud workflows that turn their analytical work into reliable, secure, and scalable software in front of clients. If you enjoy being the engineer who makes the science real, this is that role.

What you’ll be working on

  • Designing and implementing new features on the platform such as dashboard interfaces, pricing frontiers, reports that allow users to explore pricing outputs, portfolio performance, scenarios, and recommendations.
  • Building and integrating APIs and back‑end services that connect prepared data and model outputs into the application.
  • Improving the performance, reliability, security, and maintainability of our application.
  • Helping improve our cloud deployment processes, environments, monitoring, and release workflows.
  • Contributing to front‑end architecture, back‑end patterns, component libraries, API standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Contributing to architectural and product decisions as we scale into new clients, markets, and product areas including building prototype pricing tools.
  • Helping design and build version two of the Clariti AI platform.

What we’re looking for (this is an exhaustive list so not all essential)

  • At least 3 years of professional software/front‑end engineering experience.
  • Experience building data‑intensive, secure web applications within the financial services sector and/or price optimisation software.
  • Technical experience:
    • Modern (ideally React or similar) and legacy frameworks (ideally jQuery)
    • HTML, CSS, TypeScript
    • Data visualisation libraries such as Chart.js or similar
    • Back‑end integration: APIs, MySQL, PHP, Python
    • Cloud‑based applications (ideally Azure)
  • A product mindset. You care not just that something works, but that it is reliable, intuitive, and maintainable.
  • The ability to communicate clearly with data scientists/engineers and clients.
  • A self‑starter who enjoys solving open‑ended development and engineering problems and building things in an early‑stage environment.

What we offer

  • A genuinely compelling profit share scheme, with the potential to own a stake in the business.
  • A competitive salary, reflecting experience and impact.
  • Equity options in the event of an acquisition.
  • Flexible working hours and a supportive, outcomes‑focused culture.
  • The ability to work from anywhere for up to two months each year.
  • The chance to shape the second version of a live SaaS product already used by clients.
  • Meaningful influence over engineering, product architecture, front‑end experience, and cloud delivery.
  • 25 days of annual leave, increasing by one day per year after two years’ service, up to 30 days.

Other

Unfortunately, we’re unable to sponsor visas, so applicants must have the permanent right to work in the UK. Successful applicants should be willing to work in the London office up to two days a week and should be willing to travel to clients when required.
