Electronic Security Systems Engineer Physical Systems – Up to £40,000 Basic

Covering South East / Kent

SSR Personnel are recruiting an experienced Electronic Security Systems Engineer to support installations, servicing, and maintenance across the South East, including Kent, Surrey, and London. You’ll work on a variety of commercial and residential sites, delivering high-quality security solutions and excellent customer service.

This role offers a competitive basic salary up to £40,000, with opportunities for overtime, training, and long-term progression.

The Role

• Install, commission, and maintain CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients on-site
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company procedures
• Participate in an on-call rota when required

The Person

• Proven experience working with electronic security systems
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Confident communicator with a customer‑focused approach
