We’re looking for a Structures Engineer to join our team based in Staines/Edmonton, London. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our Contracts Manager and Inspection Programme Manager, supporting the day‑to‑day planning and delivery of structures work.
Location: Staines/Edmonton, London – Hybrid Working available. Hours: 45 hours per week with some flexibility. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate inspections and maintenance works to meet project timescales and KPIs
- Monitor project programmes, update schedules, and attend internal and client meetings
- Provide technical guidance on inspections and engineering works, ensuring health and safety documentation meets standards
- Order plant, traffic management, and materials for site works while tracking performance indicators
- Support the completion of health and safety files and issue scheme completion certificates
Qualifications
- HNC or equivalent qualification in Structural Engineering
- Experience from highways, rail, or London Underground environments
- Confidence managing multiple projects with a good understanding of traffic management requirements
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification with a strong awareness of health and safety best practice
- Full driving licence and sound commercial awareness
