Description

  • Preparation of the UK tax computations and calculation of quarterly installments payments for future years tax computations (including R&D tax relief claim)
  • Oversee US state & federal taxes and US sales tax processing requirements. This is supported by local advisors
  • Maintain transfer pricing documentation and review recharge policies/processes
  • Preparation of the corporation and deferred tax accruals in the consolidated financial statements on a monthly basis in accordance with GAAP. Preparation of tax provisions for the year end audit and accounts.
  • Support GFC/CFO in tax planning and optimizing the Group’s effective tax rate
  • Process oversight to ensure that VAT & Sales/Use tax returns are submitted accurately and in time by the local finance teams.
  • Lead response to tax investigations (for both direct & indirect taxation) across all geographies. These would normally be supported by local finance staff and local tax advisors
  • Maintain transfer pricing documentation and oversea accounting recharges between subsidiaries

Profile

A successful Group Tax Manager should have:

  • A professional qualification in tax or accounting, such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and US tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in corporate tax and VAT
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
