Band 7 Pharmacists (Staff Bank)

Location: Edinburgh City, East Lothian, Midlothian, West Lothian
Salary: £52,845 – £61,466 pro rata
We are recruiting highly motivated, professional pharmacists to work on an ad‑hoc, flexible basis. Short and long‑term opportunities are available.
Key Responsibilities
Work with pharmacy teams to provide high quality care in acute, mental health, community hospitals or primary care settings within GP practices.
Support project work and consolidate experience, providing an ideal environment for skill development and potential permanent employment.
Qualifications
- Master of Pharmacy Degree (M.Pharm) or equivalent.
- Completed Post‑Registration Foundation Programme or demonstration of equivalent competence.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) required.
Working Hours & Flexibility
Work is offered “as and when required.” Shift patterns vary to support flexible working. No fixed hours are guaranteed; service demand determines workload.
The staff bank centrally coordinates shifts via an online booking system, allowing bank workers to view and book shifts on computer or mobile device.
