Job Description

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Digital Hips Marketing Manager, located in Leeds, United Kingdom.

Overall Responsibilities

The Commercial member of a cross‑functional team responsible for launching and establishing Hip Enabling Technologies within the DPS International business and Hip Platforms. Ensures marketing efforts maximize returns on capital while achieving strategic goals. Develops different business models, aligned with global and international strategies, and ensures deployment both regionally and locally to meet business commitments. Focuses on key business priorities, building capabilities, and fostering a winning culture.

Position Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute the International strategies for our Hip Enabling Technology Platforms and ensure delivery of tactical activities to support the Business Plan.
  • Partner with the Hip product platform to bring new Technology Systems to market within the designated launch markets.
  • Collaborate with HEMA, Regulatory and Clinical teams to establish an accelerated and defined market access strategy for launching Hip Enabling Technology in each top 16 market.
  • Define the Clinical and Health Economic evidence strategy for new Hip Enabling Technology platforms and procedural solutions in partnership with Hip Platform Teams, HEMA, Medical Affairs and Clinical.
  • Develop recommendations for organizational design to support the new Hip Enabling Technology platforms.
  • Represent international needs in product pipeline discussions with global marketing, R&D and Supply Chain teams.
  • Partner with Supply Chain teams to ensure our IBP is fully aligned to launch plans.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with the defined KOLs for each technology platform.
  • Collaborate with Regional Hip teams to plan the launch and rollout of Hip enabling technology within the portfolio.
  • Support activities within the Lighthouse Centre strategy and plans.
  • Work closely with EMEA, APAC & LATAM Commercial Leaders and the markets across the EMEA, APAC & LATAM region’s.
  • Partner with Professional Education and Commercial Education teams to ensure education plans support technology launch plans.
  • Champion and actively practice Health Care Compliance, Quality & Safety principles at every organizational level.

Extended Duties

Quantify and ensure the quality, timeliness and cost‑effective implementation of marketing programs. Allocate marketing resources behind strategic imperatives to maximize impact. Create and direct communications, research and public relations plans to support the strategic plan. Develop and ensure adherence to annual budget. Conduct business activities in compliance with ethics and legal requirements.

Education Requirements

  • BA/BS required; MBA preferred.

Experience

  • Deep expertise in Orthopedics; ideally in HIPA.
  • Experience within Clinical technology solutions, Digital products and Capital systems.
  • Marketing experience of 5+ years.
  • Global or regional experience preferred.
  • Market development or value/demand creation experience through customer and market insights or through marketing or other critical functions (e.g., sales, operations, R&D, finance, business development).
  • English required; other languages preferable.
