This nationwide Building Structures Engineering consultancy is seeking a Principal level Structural Engineer to join their team. They offer a generous package, fully supported career development and the opportunity to work on, develop and lead outstanding building structures projects in London.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead consultant on projects, providing C&S representation and input at key stages of the project to other members of the project team and ensuring that the C&S requirements are communicated and delivered across the business and specifically your team.
• Represent the company at both internal and external meetings.

Qualifications

• Desire to build on your existing experience and knowledge of civil and structural engineering design and mentor junior staff.
• Experienced developing Structural/Civil Engineering designs for projects through various project stages autonomously, comfortable developing engineering concepts and communicating them to clients, architects and staff in meetings.
• Able to apply analysis techniques for the preparation of calculations for all elements within structures and manage the preparation of such calculations by junior staff.
• Ability to break down complex structures into individual components to allow for element design and communicate this to colleagues.
