Forklift Service Engineer – Nottingham, East Midlands

Salary: GBP 36,000 – 40,000 per annum + training, progression and benefits.

We are looking for a Forklift, Material Handling or Plant Technician to join our leading dealership. The role is a permanent, local, Monday‑Friday field‑based position covering a patch around Nottingham and neighbouring counties. You will work on modern equipment, performing repairs, maintenance and ensuring operational reliability.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of access, material handling and forklift equipment.
• Electrical, mechanical and hydraulics work.
• Conduct daily inspections, troubleshooting and repair work at customer sites.
• Maintain accurate service records and comply with safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote the company’s reputation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full UK driving licence.
• Local to the area or willing to relocate.
• Experience in forklift or material handling maintenance preferred.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
