We are looking for an outstanding teacher with strong, dynamic leadership skills, someone who can both challenge and inspire. You will work alongside our Headteacher and our committed, caring and hardworking team to continue driving school improvement, raising aspirations and securing the best possible outcomes for every pupil.

As Deputy Head and SENDCo this is a pivotal role. It will require ambition, resilience and a readiness to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. The right candidate will be a role model of the highest calibre: someone who leads with integrity, champions well-being and models the very best of classroom practice.

We are looking for a strong, dynamic and inspirational leader who:

  • Is an outstanding classroom practitioner with consistently high expectations for all pupils.
  • Has a proven track record as a SENDCo acting as an advocate for pupils and securing their best outcomes.
  • Has proven leadership, management and interpersonal skills, inspiring confidence and excellence in others.
  • Is an independent thinker; looks for creative and innovative solutions and is confident in taking risks, learning from every opportunity.
  • Has a sound and confident understanding of safeguarding procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of all.
  • Has the ambition, resilience and commitment to contribute to the strategic leadership of our school.
  • Will lead by example, inspiring, motivating, challenging and supporting colleagues to further improve teaching, learning and pastoral care.
  • Will champion and develop our respectful, responsible and reflective school ethos.
  • Has experience of restorative behaviour management, with a focus on relationships and personal growth.
