Group Functional Process & Systems Enablement Lead

Remote (Must be based in the UK)

Role Overview

An international financial and professional services organisation is seeking a Group Functional Process & Systems Enablement Lead to drive measurable improvements across Group Functions, including Finance, Risk & Compliance, HR, Legal, IT and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities

Process Excellence

  • Deliver process optimisation initiatives from problem definition to benefits realisation.
  • Use structured diagnostic methods such as Lean Six Sigma, value stream mapping and VOC.
  • Facilitate workshops to map current and future processes, identify waste, and embed improved controls.
  • Produce to‑be designs, SOPs, RACIs, and supporting operational metrics.

Systems Enablement

  • Translate redesigned processes into system requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
  • Work closely with Technology and Product teams on workflow, document management, case management and automation solutions.
  • Line‑manage and coach three Process Business Analysts.
  • Establish standards, templates, documentation discipline, and delivery cadence.
  • Maintain a professional, high‑credibility team brand.

Experience & Capabilities

  • Extensive experience in process improvement / operational excellence within complex organisations.
  • Strong grounding in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt level or equivalent experience).
  • Proven ability to convert process change into systems-enabled solutions.
  • Confident stakeholder facilitator with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Experience managing or coaching analysts or improvement practitioners.
  • Strong analytical and data‑led problem‑solving skills.
  • Background in financial services or other regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with workflow, automation or case/document management tools.
  • Experience with process repositories and documentation standards.

Salary range between £65,000 – £80,000 depending on experience
