Hours of work: 37 hours per week

Role Information

• Provide commercial support across projects, including bid governance, change management, compensation events, and contractual notices
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and contract requirements, liaising with HoC, SQS, and clients
• Support Project Managers with all commercial aspects of project delivery
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Interpret and apply head contract terms, ensuring flow-down to subcontractors
• Monitor contract compliance and implement corrective actions where required
• Develop and support procurement strategies to meet project timelines, budgets, and risk requirements
• Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial and supply chain risks
• Lead sourcing and tendering processes, ensuring well-defined work packages and appropriate contract terms
• Manage subcontractor performance, claims, and post-contract commercial activities
• Ensure timely issuance of contractual notices and proper documentation of variations and claims
• Review and validate subcontractor compensation events and invoices, certifying payments
• Support agreement of final accounts with subcontractors
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and site teams to track progress and variations
• Promote commercial best practices and provide guidance to project teams
• Escalate key commercial risks and issues to senior management with proposed solutions

Qualifications / Experience Required

• Extensive working knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4
• UK National Security Vetting Status – Ability to gain SC Clearance – Candidate must be a British National due to the nature of the project
