Cold End Process Leader
As a Cold End Process Leader, you will provide technical and process knowledge for the shift teams in the Cold End Manufacturing area of the plant, caring for safety first at all times, creating a customer centric mentality within the team whilst challenging at all levels to continually improve.
What you’ll be doing
- Be competent with the CI framework and drive the application of CI tools, techniques, and ways of working, so that they become “the way we do things around here”.
- Ensure any new agreed process standards, tasks or improvements are properly communicated and trained to the shift teams.
- Support where necessary with training requests and push a deeper data driven understanding within the teams.
- Support the plant teams with expert process knowledge and technical skills to ensure that the plant is operated, always, in compliance with standards to achieve safety, quality, output, manufacturing efficiencies and cost.
- Liaise with central support teams and other plants to ensure St Helens Plant has access to all sources of manufacturing and process best practice.
- Sustaining and driving forward CI and managing the resistance to change, maintaining morale, and motivating the teams directly against a background of constant change.
- Leadership of process without team reports, seeking to control processes with reliance of shift teams reporting to alternate line managers.
