Severn Trent’s Waste Reactive Repair Team are looking for a new Reactive Lead to join their team. Your main stakeholders will be our partnered contractors who do repairs on our Waste Network. Your job will be to determine the correct method of repair of our assets to set the field teams up for success in fixing.
You’ll be based at our Barnhurst site in Wolverhampton. You’ll work with other Reactive leads across our entire patch for the Waste Reactive Repair Team. This is a critical role and we’re looking for someone who can commit to 37 hours a week, working Monday to Friday 7:30am–3:30pm and cover a shared standby rota, which includes some evenings and weekends.
What we’re looking for
- Strong evidence of stakeholder management with internal and external parties (e.g., highway authorities, customers, MPs, councils, and contact partners).
- Experience assessing repairs and undertaking safety audits – a driving licence is mandatory.
- Transferable knowledge from a Utility or Repair background is desirable.
- A positive attitude, character, and caring attitude that aligns with our inclusive culture.
