In this pivotal role, you will champion the wellbeing and development of young people who have faced significant challenges, providing guidance, stability, and support to help them thrive.   • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a high responsibility setting
  • Deep understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
  • Familiarity with care home regulations and Ofsted standards
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, staff, and external partners
  • Strong organisational instincts and attention to detail

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of a residential care setting, ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children
  • Develop, implement, and review personalised support plans and safety protocols in line with statutory regulations
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated team, including performance reviews, training, and professional development
  • Coordinate enriching activities and experiences tailored to individual interests and developmental need
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, regulatory requirements, financial management, and reporting standards
