Learning & Development Data Analyst

We are looking for a Learning & Development Data Analyst to join our L&D team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effectiveness of our learning data and reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for data to help shape reporting processes, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights that support business decisions and continuous improvement across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Data Management & Reporting

Recording, updating, cleansing, and maintaining accurate L&D data

Ensuring data consistency and integrity across all L&D systems and processes

Producing regular reports and dashboards to support operational and strategic decision-making

Developing storyboards and visual reporting tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

Analysis & Continuous Improvement

Analysing learning and development data to provide actionable insights

– Identifying opportunities to improve existing reporting and data processes

– Supporting governance and compliance reporting requirements

– Helping to drive data-led improvements across the L&D function

Stakeholder Support

– Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements

– Supporting the wider L&D team with accurate and timely data analysis

– Providing clear and meaningful insights to support business decisions

About You

Essential

– Previous experience in a data analyst or reporting-focused role

– Strong attention to detail and accuracy

– Experience working with large data sets and data cleansing

– Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

– Experience creating dashboards and reports

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

– Ability to communicate data and insights clearly to stakeholders

Desirable

– Previous experience within Learning & Development, HR, or Apprenticeships

– Experience using learning management systems or HR systems

– Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools

– Experience identifying trends and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
