Audio Visual Production Manager, London
Location: Onsite, City of London

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated, full-time Audio Visual Production (Technology) Manager to lead the technical team at one of London’s premier event destinations. This role is central to overseeing the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, high-impact corporate events with precision and excellence. You will lead a high-performing team and partner directly with clients to manage every element of audio-visual production—from sound and lighting to video and staging—to create seamless and memorable event experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- AV Production & Delivery: Manage and execute all audio-visual production services, including sound, video, lighting, networking, webcasting, and conferencing for events.
- Client & Sales Partnership: Consult with sales and planning teams to create tech quotes and proposals. Coordinate directly with clients in advance to ensure all technological requirements are met. Provide genuine customer service and support during programs.
- Team Leadership & Operations: Direct the day-to-day floor operations of AV Specialists, including scheduling, set-up, and strike. Provide training, mentorship, and support, and participate in interviewing new candidates.
- Financial Management: Responsible for weekly financial reporting, tracking labor hours, contributing to monthly operations reports, and processing vendor invoices.
- Troubleshooting: Provide ad-hoc troubleshooting and management of AV equipment, networking systems, and hardware for both in-house and client systems.
What We Look For:
- Experience & Leadership: 4+ years of experience in managing AV equipment and computer software systems. Proven leadership experience, including effective team management and collaboration with internal and external clients. Hospitality experience is preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of professional audio-visual equipment, including analog/digital mixers, wireless microphone systems, video switchers, projectors/displays, and basic lighting concepts.
- IT & Hybrid Skills: Strong understanding of data networking principles, architecture, and basic configuration/administration of Mac/PC systems. Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms, livestreaming technologies, and control systems.
- Other Requirements: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including long and weekend hours. Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Please note: Total compensation for this role includes a base annual salary and performance-based bonus.
Salary Range: £50,000–£60,000 per annum, plus eligibility for a 10% annual bonus.
