A Bit About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key customer accounts across The Midlands and East Anglia, helping to drive growth and build long-term partnerships. The role focuses on developing and delivering a proactive sales strategy, identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing relationships and ensuring customers receive a first-class experience throughout the sales journey. Working across a variety of sectors, you’ll play a key part in achieving ambitious business targets while representing the company’s brand and values at every stage.
You’ll work closely with internal teams to develop tailored client proposals, support project planning, and deliver successful tenders and presentations. The role also involves keeping up to date with market activity, competitor trends and regional opportunities, while providing regular sales and financial reporting to support wider business objectives. This is a varied and collaborative position where relationship building, commercial awareness and delivering results all go hand in hand.
Your Skills
We’re looking for someone who is confident building relationships, spotting opportunities and delivering results in a professional sales environment. You’ll be a strong communicator, with the ability to influence and engage customers at all levels, while staying organised and focused in a fast-paced setting. A motivated and proactive approach is important, along with the ability to manage priorities and work towards targets and deadlines with confidence.
Experience within the construction sector or selling high-value products into business markets would be beneficial, although just as important is your commercial awareness and ability to assess opportunities effectively. You’ll be comfortable working with data and reports to support decision-making, have strong administrative skills and be confident using Microsoft Office as part of your day-to-day role.
