As an Assistant Psychologist, you will primarily work with children in the Early Years and the adults who support them. You will contribute to the Education, Health, and Care Needs Assessment process by collecting information through observation, assessment, and structured interviews, and you will participate in collaborative co-construction meetings alongside EPs, parents and carers, and other key adults. Educational psychologists will provide training, supervision, and support to do this work. Opportunities to engage in broader work alongside the EP team will also become available, and the team will be keen to support you to progress on your career path. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate candidates keen to develop their experience and skills through working within an Educational Psychology service and to progress to professional training in Educational Psychology. Successful candidates will hold an honours degree in psychology that is accredited by the British Psychological Society, and will have experience of working with children in educational settings. You will be skilled at building relationships with both children and adults and will have strong verbal and written communication skills. Why us?
