Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Combs for a General Manager. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, manage team performance, and ensure projects are completed on time and to customer specifications. Key responsibilities include streamlining workflows, maintaining equipment efficiency, coordinating with clients, and implementing strategies to meet business objectives. The role also involves fostering a positive work environment, ensuring workplace safety, and driving quality improvements across all operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team to achieve organisational goals
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand business opportunities
- Manage sales targets, merchandising strategies, and promotional activities
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and legal requirements
- Analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities and optimise existing processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Fusion 360 and/or other CAD software for design and programming purposes would be a bonus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking capabilities.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Working from technical drawings as well as verbal and written drawings
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/specifications, review engineering drawings/technical drawings, and models to identify potential manufacturing challenges and offer design and manufacturing recommendations
