Position: Equestrian Centre ManagerLocation: On‑site (Accommodation and full board included)Yard Size: Small, friendly yard with capacity for up to 10 horses, including fields and an all-weather‑ arena/menageSalary: £24,000, with the opportunity to enhance earnings through additional boarding duties

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Equestrian Centre Manager to take responsibility for the day‑to‑day running and future development of our small school equestrian facility. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about equine care, enjoys working in an educational environment, and has the vision to help shape and grow the centre’s offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily management of a small yard (10 horses) including stable care, turnout, feeding and general horse welfare
  • Maintain the arena/menage, fields and facilities to a high standard
  • Coordinate lessons, Pony Club activities and school‑based equestrian programmes
  • Manage equipment, supplies, health & safety standards and routine maintenance
  • Support and guide pupils in developing their equine knowledge and confidence
  • Drive improvements and contribute ideas for the future direction and growth of the centre
  • Take on two evening boarding duties per week and be willing to work weekends on a rota basis

Essential Requirements

  • Recognised qualification in Equine Care and Management
  • Pony Club experience (coaching, instructing or management)
  • Proven experience working in a similar yard or equestrian centre environment
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
  • A positive, professional and pupil‑focused approach
