DLT / Blockchain Engineering Lead (Banking & Financial Services) – London
Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and deployment of distributed ledger technology (DLT) solutions within banking or financial market infrastructures. The role focuses on building secure, scalable blockchain platforms, enabling asset tokenization, and integrating DLT systems with enterprise banking architecture.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Job Role
- Design and implement blockchain solutions using Ethereum, Hyperledger Besu, and Corda
- Lead end-to-end smart contract lifecycle:
- Development (Solidity)
- Security audits
- Production deployment
- Architect and deliver tokenization platforms:
- Fungible tokens
- Non-fungible tokens (NFTs)
- Hybrid tokens
- Stablecoin ecosystems
- Develop and oversee digital asset custody frameworks:
- Key management systems
- MPC (Multi-Party Computation)
- HSM (Hardware Security Modules) solutions
- Apply advanced cryptographic techniques:
- Zero-knowledge proofs
- Selective disclosure protocols
- Build cloud-native and hybrid architectures:
- AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Microservices and containerized systems
- Kubernetes orchestration
- Implement robust DevOps practices:
- CI/CD pipeline design
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Integrate DLT platforms with enterprise banking systems:
- Core banking platforms
- Payment systems
