Responsibilities

• Managing daily workshop operations and workflow coordination
• Booking appointments and invoicing customers efficiently
• Providing accurate updates and quotations to customers regarding their vehicles
• Ordering parts and ensuring smooth workshop processes
• Overseeing workshop team to ensure productivity and quality standards
• Conducting MOT testing (if holding an MOT licence) and maintaining regulatory compliance
• Supporting workshop activities to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Garage Manager, Service Manager, or in a similar supervisory position within the automotive industry
• Valid MOT Tester licence or willingness to obtain one (additional £5,000 basic salary for MOT testing capability)
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to manage workshop workflow and motivate a team
• Full UK driving licence
