Marketing and Business Development Lead – Law Firm
Hours: Full time (5 days per week) or Part time (4 days per week)
Location: Coventry / Hybrid – homeworking supported up to 50% of the week
Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum
What you’ll be doing
The role supports the firm’s growth by increasing brand awareness, strengthening the social media presence, and driving business development activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality content that promotes the firm’s expertise, values and culture
- Support and encourage lawyers to build their professional profiles
- Monitor engagement and adjust activity to maximise reach and impact
- Develop and communicate the firm’s brand story, reinforcing its position as a leading law firm
- Identify opportunities to promote the firm through external channels and partnerships, including events and networking opportunities for lawyers to attend
- Oversee website content
- Work with lawyers to create news, insights and updates that demonstrate expertise and support SEO objectives
- Support client communications with newsletters and targeted updates
- Assist with marketing activity that supports repeat instructions and cross‑selling
- Plan and deliver hosted seminars and networking events
Requirements
- Experience of marketing and business development within a professional services environment (e.g. law firm, estate agents, accountancy, recruitment)
- Proficiency in WordPress, Adobe, and Canva
- Experience with social media and content scheduling platforms
- Experience supporting a law firm with marketing and business development (advantageous but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and proof‑reading skills
- Experience in content creation
- Sound commercial awareness
- Ability to work collaboratively with lawyers across a range of legal services
- Interest in business development alongside marketing
- Excellent communication, engagement and influencing skills

Core working hours are 9:00am to 5:15pm with an hour for lunch. Homeworking is available 50% of the week, if desired.
