Overview
We are hiring a Business Director to play a key leadership role in shaping high‑impact media strategy and driving sustainable growth. This is an opportunity to lead complex, high‑value accounts, partner closely with senior stakeholders, and influence work that genuinely makes a difference. You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy, craft and people leadership — guiding teams to deliver thoughtful, effective media solutions. What You’ll Be Doing
- Setting the strategic direction across your portfolio, ensuring media solutions are insight‑led, effective and aligned to business objectives
- Acting as a senior strategic partner to stakeholders, offering clear counsel and building trusted, long‑term relationships
- Leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver best‑in‑class planning, execution and evaluation across channels
- Owning financial performance, with responsibility for forecasting, profitability and sustainable growth
- Identifying opportunities for account expansion and broader business development
- Embedding strong ways of working that support quality, consistency and operational excellence
- Contributing to wider agency initiatives, sharing knowledge and helping shape future capability
Skills We’re Looking For
- Proven experience leading media strategy at a senior level within an agency or similar environment
- Strong commercial acumen, with confidence managing budgets, forecasts and performance
- Deep understanding of the media landscape and how channels work together to drive impact
- Experience building credible relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing decision‑making
- A collaborative leadership style, with a track record of developing and motivating teams
- Analytical thinking, with the ability to turn data and insight into clear recommendations
- Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal
