This role is a highly motivated and experienced Radiographer position, leading Risk and Governance within the Radiotherapy Management team at University Hospital Southampton.

The successful candidate will have HCPC registration and a Master’s level study or equivalent. Responsibilities include:
- Leading risk and governance activities in the Radiotherapy department.
- Managing and leading within a busy radiotherapy service.
- Applying evidence‑based service improvement initiatives.
- Communicating effectively across all levels of the organisation.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- HCPC Registration.
- Master’s level study or equivalence.
- Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or Diploma of the College of Radiographers with specialist experience and courses.
- Change management and implementation skills.
- Management and leadership experience.
- Highly developed clinical expertise within a busy radiotherapy service.
- Excellent communication skills up and down the organisational structure.
- Senior level experience within a Radiotherapy Department.
- Evidence-based service improvement experience.
- Ability to manage a complex project.
Desirable Criteria
- Project management or educational experience.
- Understanding of the wider cancer agenda and NHS commissioning structure.
- Project work towards SoR Accreditation.
- Defined area of specialist practice with caseload management.
- Experience of working with staff in a management capacity.
- Teaching or training skills.
