The Opportunity

Join our team as a Finance Team Leader!

Salary: £ 39,862 to £42,839 per annum

Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week

Location: Hybrid working at County Hall, Chichester and remotely

We’re looking for a Finance Team Leader to join our Operational Finance team! In this exciting role, you will play a key part in supporting the rollout of our new Finance information system, Oracle. If you have a solid background in Accounts Payable and Purchase to Pay systems, this is a fantastic opportunity to help us transition from SAP to Oracle smoothly.

As our Finance Team Leader, you will be leading a team in Accounts Payable guiding them to achieve their goals while ensuring we deliver excellent, customer-focused service. Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Providing direction and support to individuals and teams, including those working across different disciplines or locations.
  • Collecting data from our finance systems to help prepare monitoring and performance reports.
  • Helping to develop our new finance payment system processes, which includes training, testing, and implementation.
  • Supporting our self-service initiatives by coaching and training on our various corporate payment methods.
  • Ensuring compliance with our corporate payment systems by maintaining accurate financial records.
