Senior Full Stack AI Engineer

Our client is a global tech company looking for a Full Stack AI Engineer to join their team on a 12 month remote contract. This is an opportunity to work on cutting‑edge AI‑driven products in a highly collaborative, product‑focused environment.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong experience as a Full Stack Engineer (5+ years)
• Proficiency in Python (essential)
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React (or similar full stack technologies)
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals (OOP, asynchronous programming, clean architecture)
• Hands‑on experience building AI‑powered applications (RAG, vector databases, LLMs, agent‑based systems)
• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar
• Exposure to ML/AI services and integrating models into production systems
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Strong experience building scalable, production‑grade systems
• Passion for clean, maintainable, and testable code (TDD principles)
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

Role and Responsibilities

• Design and develop full stack AI applications, from frontend interfaces to backend services
• Build and maintain modular microservices following best practices (SRP, low coupling, clear interfaces)
• Develop and integrate AI features such as LLM‑powered workflows, RAG pipelines, and agent‑based systems
• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of features including development, testing, deployment, and monitoring
• Collaborate with frontend, data, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high‑quality solutions
• Implement robust testing practices including unit testing, mocking, and TDD
• Ensure strong observability through logging, monitoring, and performance tracking
• Contribute to architecture decisions and help scale AI solutions from concept to production
