Introduction to role & team

At Bumble, our mission is to create a world where all relationships are healthy and equitable and that starts with building a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for our community. Within the Trust & Customer Experience function, the Integrity Operations team plays a critical role in protecting that experience at scale, identifying and addressing harmful behaviours while continuously strengthening our systems.

As a Senior Integrity Operations Specialist within the Scaled Abuse team, you will take on some of the most complex and evolving challenges in Trust & Safety. You’ll investigate sophisticated abuse patterns, shape how we respond to emerging threats, and help build the operational foundations that keep our platforms safe as we grow. This role calls for curiosity and Courage, the ability to question assumptions, explore new approaches, and act decisively in ambiguous situations, while always grounding decisions in Respect for our users and each other.

You’ll work closely with cross‑functional partners across engineering, product, and policy, using data, tooling, and increasingly AI‑enabled workflows to improve how we detect, investigate, and prevent abuse at scale. Your work will directly impact the safety and trust of millions of people using Bumble every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead complex, high‑impact investigations into scaled abuse, identifying coordinated networks and behaviours that bypass standard moderation systems
  • Document investigation insights and tooling feedback, including observed gaps in policies, workflows, and detection systems, to be shared with cross‑functional partners for continuous operational and process improvement
  • Assist in creating scalable operational playbooks for new moderation tools and workflows, ensuring consistency and quality in decision‑making
  • Analyse large datasets to uncover trends in scam, spam, and abuse patterns, conducting root‑cause analyses to inform prevention strategies
  • Support onboarding and development of new specialists by sharing expertise, providing guidance on complex cases, and embedding high standards of operational excellence
  • Collaborate with global Trust & Safety and Customer Experience teams to deploy initiatives that improve efficiency, quality, and user outcomes
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance investigation speed, pattern detection, and decision quality, while applying human judgement to ensure responsible, fair, and accurate outcomes

About You

  • Typically requires 3-5 years of experience, though we welcome candidates with alternative backgrounds that demonstrate equivalent skills
  • Proven experience in content moderation or Trust & Safety for a consumer‑facing platform, with a focus on complex or scaled investigations beyond one‑to‑one reporting
  • Strong analytical capability, with experience using quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions, identify trends, and drive operational improvements
  • Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with teams such as policy, product, and engineering, and influencing outcomes through clear communication and insight
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of ambiguous problems, and see initiatives through from insight to impact
  • Skilled in building and iterating on processes, with a mindset of continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Comfortable evaluating technical solutions and contributing informed feedback to improve tools and systems
  • Experience using or adapting to AI‑powered tools to improve workflows, alongside a thoughtful approach to accuracy, bias, and responsible use of AI
  • Proficiency in Spanish, French, or another language is a plus
