Capital Projects Estates Officer

The Trust is looking for a dynamic, forward‑thinking Capital Projects Estates Officer to undertake the delivery and project management of capital estates schemes from minor works to multi‑million‑pound projects. This includes all schemes within the Trust’s Capital Programme, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality to meet the Trust’s needs and objectives.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing specialist advice on all building aspects of projects undertaken by the Estates & Facilities Directorate.
• Confirming project feasibility, producing detailed design drawings and specifications.
• Procurement, including preparation of contract documentation.
• Controlling contractor activities day‑to‑day throughout construction.
• Commissioning and evaluating completed works.
• Providing building advice and briefing information to facilitate implementation of projects managed by external design consultants.
