Job Description:

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the Building Cleaning and other associated “Place” related frameworks, ensuring risk, relationships and service levels are delivered. Conduct the procurement cycle from business planning and pre‑market engagement through to tendering, contract management, stakeholder engagement and performance monitoring. Provide mentoring support to Senior Procurement Officers & Procurement Officers and deliver comprehensive procurement services to all members.

Qualifications

Extensive procurement experience within the public sector, with detailed knowledge of public sector procurement legislation and experience in the education sector. Ability to develop and tender high‑value frameworks and contracts, and support members to define requirements and embed them in the award process. Working toward CIPS or equivalent qualifications is required.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary £38,000 – £41,000 FTE, dependent on experience
  • Discretionary annual bonus up to £3,000
