The Opportunity
The Finance Systems Transformation Programme is a major change initiative that supports Arup’s Global Finance Vision. The programme will transform our future finance capabilities by enabling significant operational change through the worldwide implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM across Arup. Delivering a modern cloud-based finance foundation will allow data and processes to be unified to enhance decision-making, increase efficiency and improve user experience, strengthening our organisation for the future. The Programme will be delivered by a dedicated, collaborative, cross-functional and multi-location team working closely with our Finance team, our wider business and the implementation partner to ensure a successful outcome.
Role Overview
- Lead the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workstream within the Oracle Fusion ERP implementation, covering requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, supplier management, expenses, and accounts payable.
- Act as the primary P2P subject matter expert, working under the direction of the Finance Fusion Functional Lead to deliver agreed functional outcomes.
- Gather, analyse, and validate business requirements working with the SI to translate them into Oracle Fusion P2P solutions aligned to standard functionality and best practice.
- Work with the SI to design end-to-end P2P processes, ensuring alignment with upstream and downstream Finance and ERP processes.
- Own functional solution design for P2P, including functional specifications where required.
- Partner with technical leads to support integrations, reporting, data migration, and security design related to the P2P workstream.
- Support data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, validation and reconciliation for suppliers, purchase orders, and open transactions.
- Lead and support system testing activities for the P2P workstream, including SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.
- Support change management, training, and business readiness activities for P2P users.
- Identify and manage P2P-related risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating to the Finance Fusion Functional Lead as appropriate.
- Provide functional leadership and guidance to other P2P resources within the programme.
Is this role right for you?
- Proven experience delivering Oracle Fusion Procure-to-Pay solutions as a Functional Lead
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion P2P modules, including Purchasing, Self-service Procurement, Supplier Management, Expenses and Accounts Payable.
- Experience working within large, multi-stream ERP implementation programmes.
- Ability to design and articulate end-to-end P2P processes across procurement and finance
- Experience working collaboratively with technical teams on integrations, data migration, and reporting.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users and programme leadership.
- Experience delivering Oracle Fusion ERP within a complex or global organisation.
- Familiarity with change management and training strategies in ERP implementations.
