Excellent opportunity for a Systems Developer to join a well‑established and growing civil engineering business, supporting and enhancing critical business systems that drive operational efficiency across the organisation. This company has over 40 years of success delivering groundworks and civil engineering services, with a strong reputation for quality and innovation. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their ICT function with an experienced and proactive Systems Developer.

The Role

• Work closely with stakeholders to maintain and improve business systems
• Gather requirements and design technical solutions to business challenges
• Develop and implement solutions across a range of technologies
• Act as a technical escalation point for system‑related issues
• Deliver training on new and updated systems
• Manage third‑party providers for support and project delivery
• Maintain accurate system documentation and knowledge base
• Drive continuous improvement and stay up to date with new technologies

The Person

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint)
• Strong development skills in C#, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework
• Experience working with SQL Server
• Proven ability to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Strong stakeholder communication skills
• Organised and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
• Desirable experience with VB.NET, VBA, or Power BI
