Lead Security Officer

Location: Hounslow, TW4 6JG

Pay: £15.68 per hour

Hours: Average 42 hours per week – 4 on, 4 off days, including weekends and bank holidays

Grade: 3.1 Site Based

Responsibilities

• Ensure all personnel under your supervision have completed the appropriate site training and hold a valid SIA licence or LDN to meet industry requirements
• Monitor and manage the appearance and behaviour of all security personnel, taking remedial action in line with the company policy and procedures
• Report all incidents in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures
• Assist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing best practices and using systems and tools to improve service effectiveness
• Be fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV Detection, and Alarm Systems, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting
• Assist the Site Manager with any reasonable or practical request
• Monitor faults with security related equipment, ensuring they are reported correctly

Qualifications

• A valid SIA licence (security guard or door supervisor)
• Previous experience in a team leading or supervisory role is highly desirable
• Previous data centre experience is desirable but not essential
• Flexibility to work days, weekends and bank holidays
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5‑year checkable history
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
