Job Description:

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support stores and customers with credit account applications/queries including credit checks and set credit limits ensuring compliance with company policies, relevant legislation and third‑party policies so that insured debts are compliant
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts including proactive debt collection (via all forms of communication) and escalating accounts to debt collection or legal action where necessary
  • Provide a professional and effective credit control service for the various stakeholders and build relationships with the stores so that we are better equipped to support credit accounts
  • Collaborate as a team to resolve account issues, improve customer experience, and deliver process improvements across the function
  • Any other ad hoc duties to support the Support Centre functions
  • To undertake any other duties, activities, projects outside their job role that may be assigned to you from time to time, to support the needs of the business.

What You’ll Need

  • Previous experience within credit control
  • Organisation skills, the ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent understanding of credit management principles and financial processes
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with external and internal stakeholders
  • Experience in a high‑volume, multi‑site, or retail environment
