Band 5 Nurse – In Patient Unit
Starting Salary: £38,735 WTE per annum, pro rata (based on 37.5 hours per week), rising to £42,977 pro rata after 12 months satisfactory performance review.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, forward‑thinking registered staff nurse who is a team player with well‑developed communication skills. You will be joining a multi‑professional team committed to delivering high standards of care to people living with life‑limiting conditions. You will demonstrate an understanding of palliative care and a desire to work in a caring environment, supported by previous relevant experience to enable you to provide evidence‑based, individualised specialist palliative nursing care to inpatients, whilst adhering to statutory regulations and Hospice policies.
Responsibilities will include working a mixture of internal rotation shifts, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays, and providing specialist palliative nursing care to inpatients.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered staff nurse with experience in palliative or specialist nursing care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working within a multi‑professional team and delivering high quality care.
