What You Will Do as Senior CMF Designer:

  • Define and maintain the overall CMF strategy across exterior, interior, and components, ensuring cohesive, high‑quality direction.
  • Translate project vision into baseline palettes, specifications, and standard build options that align with the company’s values.
  • Select and approve materials, balancing aesthetics, durability, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source, sample, and validate materials, working closely with the supply chain manager.
  • Ensure CMF intent is integrated into design and engineering processes from the early stages.
  • Support client teams with bespoke and customization decisions, guiding them through specification choices.
  • Review first‑off parts and monitor consistency of finishes during production, ensuring standards are upheld.
  • Work closely with trim, paint, and assembly teams to execute CMF designs to perfection.

What You Will Bring as CMF Designer:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in CMF design, ideally within automotive or high‑end product design.
  • Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end CMF work, from concept through to production.
  • Strong material knowledge across paints, coatings, metals, and textiles, with an interest in alternative or innovative materials.
  • Excellent commercial awareness, including cost, supply chain, and manufacturability considerations.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset with a strong eye for quality and consistency.
