The role

We’re on the hunt for someone who geeks out over content & technology that drives behaviour change.

The Learning Experience Design Team is for people who:

  • Can turn literally anything into a compelling story
  • Are fuelled by curiosity to synthesise data (thought leadership, personal experience) to generate new ways to approach learning design
  • Enjoy working globally, across cultures and contexts
  • Leverages creativity to push boundaries (in a safe way)

This role is all about creativity, innovation, and thinking differently so if that sounds like your natural habitat, dive inand apply.

We’re looking for a Senior Learning Experience Designer to play a key role in shaping, designing, and evolving our learning experiences across digital, virtual, immersive (VR), and live formats ensuring each experience is coherent, purposeful, and grounded in strong learning design principles.

Design end to end learning experiences

  • Translate psychological insight, learning theory, and client objectives into clear learning goals, narratives, and activities
  • Create experiences that are practical, application-focused, and built to support real behaviour change at work
  • Balance creativity with rigour ensuring learning feels engaging without losing evidence‑based integrity

Set the design standard (structure, storytelling, quality)

  • Use strong instructional design principles to structure journeys, sessions, and content flows
  • Create high-quality content and materials that others can deliver with confidence
  • Design quality, engaging and instructive participant‑led materials
  • Adapt and evolve existing content for different audiences and markets while protecting the core intent

Co‑create, collaborate and contribute across the business

  • Work closely with internal project teams to co‑create learning solutions
  • Contribute to portfolio and product development, designing reusable, agile solutions aligned to emerging trends

Who we are

Cappfinity is a global leader in measuring and developing potential through skills and strengths. Founded by psychologists, our approach is rooted in evidence and scaled through the Cappfinity Talent Platform, with learning experiences brought to life through creativity, storytelling and innovation.

You’ll thrive here if…

  • You love turning complex research into clear, elegant experiences that feel human and usable.
  • You’re happiest when you can own the narrative, flow, and interaction design not just “create content”.
  • You’re confident partnering with consultants/SMEs and enjoy shaping a great brief as much as delivering a great solution.
  • You love to iterate: prototyping, testing, and improving based on feedback and what learners actually do.

About you

You’re an experienced learning designer who cares deeply about how people learn and how learning translates into action. You’ll likely bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience in learning experience design, instructional design, or behaviour change (including degree or equivalent experience)
  • A track record of designing engaging, narrative‑led learning across digital and live formats
  • Evidence of working collaboratively with subject matter experts, consultants, and creative partners
  • Experience turning complex ideas into clear, usable, compelling learning experiences
  • An ability to create visually engaging graphics, storyboards and slides
  • A creative mindset, with curiosity about technology and its impact on human behaviour

If you’re passionate about designing learning that genuinely makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you. Share your CV and, if you have one, a portfolio or examples of journeys you’ve designed (storyboards, prototypes, session design, digital modules, etc.).
