Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training)
About The Role
We’re partnering with the world’s leading AI research labs to build smarter, more technically rigorous AI models — and we need electrical engineers to make it happen. Your deep domain knowledge will directly shape how AI reasons through complex engineering problems, from circuit analysis to embedded systems.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI development without leaving your home. Work on your own schedule, engage with intellectually stimulating problems, and make a lasting impact on the next generation of AI.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You’ll Do
- Design Complex Engineering Problems — Craft advanced technical challenges across circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, electromagnetics, and control systems to stress-test AI performance
- Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step solutions that serve as the gold standard for AI learning and benchmarking
- Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with industry standards (IEEE, NEC, etc.)
- Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical gaps and flaws in AI-generated engineering reasoning, then provide structured feedback to improve model performance
- Work Asynchronously — Complete assignments independently on a schedule that works for you
Who You Are
- Holds or is pursuing a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related discipline
- Strong foundational expertise in one or more core domains: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, signal processing, or embedded systems
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and precisely in writing
- Highly detail-oriented when reviewing equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- No prior AI experience required — your engineering expertise is what matters
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, technical writing, or evaluation systems
- Familiarity with simulation tools (MATLAB, SPICE, etc.)
- Background in standards compliance or technical auditing
Why Join Us
