Calor Gas is looking for a Gas Engineer to install and maintain bulk LPG tanks and support our emergency response service across a rural customer base.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and service bulk LPG tanks and assets at customer sites.
- Travel to customer sites using a company van; fuel is provided.
- Participate in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies outside normal working hours; flexible scheduling is required.
- Provide excellent customer care and support during installations and maintenance.
- Follow procedures and instructions, and maintain high safety standards.
- Support our 24/7 emergency response service as part of the field‑based team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- ACS Gas Qualified.
- Full UK driving licence and a medically fit to drive certification.
- Experience in customer service and dealing with customers.
- Any relevant gas engineering experience or knowledge of LPG installation and maintenance is advantageous.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, industry standards and Health & Safety.
- Ability to follow procedures, instructions and monitor quality of work.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
- Basic organisational and communication skills.
