LPG Gas Service Engineer – Field Tech with 24/7 Standby

Calor Gas is looking for a Gas Engineer to install and maintain bulk LPG tanks and support our emergency response service across a rural customer base.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and service bulk LPG tanks and assets at customer sites.
• Travel to customer sites using a company van; fuel is provided.
• Participate in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies outside normal working hours; flexible scheduling is required.
• Provide excellent customer care and support during installations and maintenance.
• Follow procedures and instructions, and maintain high safety standards.
• Support our 24/7 emergency response service as part of the field‑based team.

Qualifications & Requirements

• ACS Gas Qualified.
• Full UK driving licence and a medically fit to drive certification.
• Experience in customer service and dealing with customers.
• Any relevant gas engineering experience or knowledge of LPG installation and maintenance is advantageous.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, industry standards and Health & Safety.
• Ability to follow procedures, instructions and monitor quality of work.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
• Basic organisational and communication skills.
