Salary: £48,000-£50,000 DOE

Location: Midlands / South East (ideal base between London & Birmingham)

A specialist engineering company is looking for an experienced Service & Repair Engineer to join its field-based team covering the South East and Midlands regions.

The role involves servicing, fault‑finding, repairing and surveying movable partition systems and related products at customer sites, alongside supporting installation projects and responding to reactive call‑outs when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair movable wall and partition systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently on‑site.
• Carry out site surveys and complete digital service reports.
• Support installation teams and coordinate equipment deliveries when needed.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools and stock levels.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and professionalism.

Requirements

• Previous field service or maintenance engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service ability.
• Self‑motivated with a practical, hands‑on approach.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Health & Safety

• Follow all site and company health & safety procedures.
• Report hazards, defects and incidents promptly.
• Ensure safe use of tools, equipment and working practices at all times.
