Junior / Trainee Service Engineer (Multi-skilled / Nationwide)

We are looking for a Mechanical / Electrical graduate or experienced individual who wants to start a career in service engineering. This long‑established company has been providing specialist packaging products for over 100 years to a wide range of clients, principally in the agri‑business sector. With a rising workload we need to grow our friendly service team.
In this entry‑level role you will initially shadow a senior engineer, receive full training and then travel the UK to carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on specialist agricultural machinery. You will work Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm with many overnight stays (usually weekdays) and have ample opportunities for overtime and door‑to‑door pay.
Responsibilities
- Shadow senior engineer and receive full training.
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on specialist agricultural machinery.
- Cover the whole of the UK, with regular overnight stays (typically Monday‑Friday each week).
- Earn door‑to‑door pay and take advantage of abundant overtime.
Qualifications
- Mechanical or Electrical skills or qualifications.
- Willing to be away every week.
- Commutable to Braintree – Full Driving Licence required.
