Lighting Engineer (Full Time)

We are seeking an experienced Lighting Engineer to join our live events organisation based in Manchester. The role is full‑time, requiring responsibility for design, rigging, and operation of professional lighting systems across corporate, arena, and hybrid events.

Salary: £32,000–£38,000 per annum + overtime and healthcare. Competitive benefits and ongoing training available.

Responsibilities

• Design, rig, and operate lighting systems for live, corporate, and hybrid events.
• Interpret lighting plots and adapt designs to varying venues.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and prepare lighting equipment.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, venues, and production teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry best practice.

Qualifications

• Background as a Lighting Engineer in live events or similar.
• Ability to commute to Manchester.
• Strong communication skills and problem‑solving ability.
• Experience in programming and operating lighting consoles.
