Hours: Flexible – Seasonal Role

What You’ll Do:
- Welcome customers with a positive, friendly attitude
- Recommend the right bikes, clothing, and accessories for riders of all levels
- Upsell and advise to help enhance the customer’s cycling experience
- Support the team with store presentation, merchandising, and cleanliness
- Assist with basic bike builds and pre-delivery checks
- Work closely with your teammates to meet store goals
- Keep up to date with the latest cycling tech and trends
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine passion for bikes and cycling culture
- Hands‑on knowledge of cycle builds and maintenance
- A confident communicator who enjoys talking to customers
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable using POS and in‑store tech

Seasonal Bicycle Mechanic – Sheffield
Location: JE James Cycles – Sheffield
Hours: Seasonal – Part-Time Hours Available
Pay: Under 21: £11.00 per hour; 21 and Over: £13.17 per hour

What You’ll Do:
- Build new bikes to a high standard for display, sale, and dispatch
- Perform safety checks and final inspections for mail order bikes
- Assist with repairs, servicing, and general maintenance in the Rotherham store workshop
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide solutions confidently
- Support warehouse operations by preparing bikes for delivery or collection
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace
- Ensure accurate completion of all job cards and paperwork
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven mechanical skills and experience working on a wide range of bikes
- Confident with modern componentry including hydraulic brakes, e-bikes, and drivetrains
- A methodical and safety-conscious approach to work
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing time effectively
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Previous workshop or cycle industry experience is preferred
- Willingness to work flexibly across both retail and warehouse environments
Store Supervisor – Sheffield
Location: JE James Cycles – Sheffield
Hours: Full Time (including weekends)
Pay: Dependent On Experience

What You’ll Do:
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service
- Support and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and store goals
- Assist in overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Drive sales through product knowledge, upselling, and customer engagement
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, merchandising, and cleanliness
- Support stock management, deliveries, and inventory accuracy
- Assist with bike builds, pre‑delivery inspections, and workshop coordination
- Help train and develop team members, sharing product knowledge and best practices
- Stay up to date with the latest cycling products, technology, and trends
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous retail experience, ideally in a supervisory or senior sales role
- A genuine passion for cycling and strong product knowledge
- Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable using POS systems and retail tech
- Hands‑on experience with bike setup, maintenance, or workshop processes (preferred)
