Job Title: M/S Maintenance Technician

Location: East Yorkshire

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, alternating weekly between 6 AM – 2 PM and 2 PM – 10 PM shifts

Salary and Benefits

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, working a rotating morning and afternoon shifts
  • Salary: £42,500 – £46,300
  • Contributory Pension

Role and Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly and efficiently to maintain production flow.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a factory or a fast‑paced production environment
  • Must have served a recognised Engineering apprenticeship or be NVQ level 3 trained in either Mechanical, Electrical or Multi‑skilled. Please note either bias will be considered
  • Ability to repair mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
