Solar Design Engineer – Commercial Projects (BBBH274515) Nottingham, England

Salary: GBP50,000 – GBP60,000 per annum

Office Based – Nottingham

£50,000 – £60,000 + Car / Allowance + Healthcare + Pension (5% / 5%) + Bonus + Holiday 25 plus banks + Christmas Shutdown

In this role you will be responsible for producing designs for commercial‑scale Solar PV systems. You will provide technical support for designs from feasibility to completion, including DNO notifications and MCS certificates. The position sits within an experienced team that will support your training and development.

This role would suit someone with a background in solar PV design for domestic or commercial systems, and experience using industry‑specific software.

The Role

  • Produce designs for commercial Solar PV projects using industry‑specific software
  • Oversee projects from feasibility to completion, including DNO notifications and MCS certificates
