Role Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing Consulting Business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions.

As a Senior Consultant, you will work directly with our clients to ensure they receive the quality consulting services Delta Capita offers. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of financial services, exceptional problem‑solving skills, project management and/or business analysis experience, the ability to manage, motivate and inspire others, and a proven track record of delivering successful client engagements. You will have change‑management experience and prior success as a senior consultant or in a change role in a financial services institution.

The Role and Responsibilities

This role is ideal for someone with the right mix of consulting and client management experience as well as an entrepreneurial spirit. You will combine project delivery know‑how, a can‑do attitude, and a strong knowledge of and network within the financial services industry.

  • Management of client relationships, building and maintaining strong relationships with key project stakeholders and client accounts. Act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating an understanding of their evolving needs, proactively identifying new opportunities for collaboration within Consulting and across the broader firm.
  • Support Project Managers and Business Analysts, ensuring high quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development. Lead by example, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture in line with DC’s values.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams and Consulting leadership to support the development of campaigns, respond to RFPs, and contribute to the growth of DC’s Consulting practice.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and support the development of consulting expertise. Contribute to knowledge sharing sessions, client events, thought leadership articles, whitepapers, presentations, and industry conferences.
  • Propose ideas for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes to optimise efficiency and develop DC intellectual property.

Qualifications

  • Proven consulting experience or alternatively in project management or business analysis within financial services.
  • Change‑management experience: strategy, design, analysis, project management, build testing, go‑live.
  • Understanding of financial services products and lifecycle events.
  • Some experience managing small projects, supporting successful project/programme deliveries.
  • Good knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and participants (sell‑side, buy‑side, market infrastructure, etc.).
  • Background as a management consultant or in a change role within a financial services institution, with a blend of financial services knowledge and strong soft skills across influence, listening, presentation, and team management.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing own workload with minimal supervision.
  • Responsibility for helping grow the business by supporting ongoing operations and RFPs.

It would be great if you had knowledge of any of the following

  • Experience of working in financial services regulation.
  • Experience of working in an agile environment with Agile certifications.
  • Experience of working across technology and system upgrades.

Expectations regarding Hybrid Working

As a service‑provider and consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s office or our own office, depending on the client) aligns with the clients’ policies and expectations. Most clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days from home, and this is the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires.

This is a permanent full‑time position located in London. For this role, a valid working permit for the UK is mandatory.
