Job Description

Rose Hill Primary School, Derby Road, Ipswich, Suffolk IP3 8DL. Salary: £25,185 pro rata (£14,199 per annum). Hours: 25 per week, 38 weeks per year. Contract: permanent, required as soon as possible. Reference: 8960.

Responsibilities

• Strategic management of the catering team and the school meal service
• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Managing staff activities and performance
• Handling all administration related to catering

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or a similar role within an educational setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritise work, including multi‑tasking
• Food hygiene level 1 or above
• English and mathematics skills (grade C or level 4 or above)
• Good understanding of food safety and preparation, hygiene, first aid, food allergens and fire safety
