About the role
We are currently collaborating with a well-established Cambridgeshire-based manufacturer with over two decades of industry experience in the supply of products to the consumer and B2B construction market. The client is seeking an office based Inside Sales Executive who can focus on maximising sales opportunities within a specific geographical area.
Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with the Inside Sales Manager and the wider sales team to implement strategies that enhance sales potential.
- Handle the majority of sales from existing customers, with some outbound sales to lapsed or new potential clients.
- Maximise the order potential from both inbound and outbound enquiries to achieve monthly KPI targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven inside sales experience within a fast‑paced environment, with a track record of overachieving KPIs.
- Strong telephone presence and the ability to multi‑task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Experience in KBB, construction, electrical, or plumbing sectors is a benefit but not essential.
Location & Travel
Due to the location of the Bedfordshire-based office, this role is commutable from the following areas: Cambridge, Ely, Downham Market, Chatteris, Newmarket, Littleport, Bury St Edmunds, and Thetford.
