What you’ll be doing:
- Managing daily orders and liaising with warehouse teams.
- Arranging and attending meetings, taking minutes, and generating data reports.
- Preparing high-impact presentations for major retailers and communicating customer needs back to the business.
- Developing and maintaining up-to-date contact lists across customers and media.
- Distributing POS materials and Advance Reading Copies to booksellers and media to promote our books.
- Managing mailing lists for influencers, coordinating author events, and attending trade fairs to identify new opportunities.
Who you are:
- A multi‑tasking professional who can pivot quickly when priorities shift while staying calm under pressure.
- Highly organized with a focus on accuracy, from presentations to complex spreadsheets.
- A people person who builds strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
- A genuine passion for books and curiosity about the Irish book trade.
To thrive in this role, you’ll work autonomously, propose new ideas, and persist until goals are achieved. We value resilience, initiative, and a team‑first attitude. Previous experience in a bookshop or publishing is a major plus, but energetic, eager learners are welcome.
