Role Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager in the e‑commerce/fulfilment sector to identify new business opportunities. The role will involve generating leads, booking appointments on a daily basis, delivering sales presentations, and providing exceptional service at all times.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads and schedule appointments on a daily basis
- Develop and deliver sales presentations
- Provide an exceptional service at all times
Qualifications
- Experience in e‑commerce/fulfilment Business Development or a field‑based role
- Proven track record of closing sales
- Ability to engage key stakeholders in bids
- Confident, articulate, works well under pressure
- High level of negotiating, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Self‑starter, working with minimum supervision
- Field‑based, with excellent organisational skills and ability to manage workload
- Communication with line manager, providing weekly updates and seeking guidance as needed
- Outstanding negotiation skills, resolve issues and address complaints
- Knowledge of sales methodology
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
